End of Lease Pest Control

Solutions

You may find a reference to an end of lease pest control program in the special terms of your Tenancy Agreement.

Dependent upon these special terms in your Tenancy Agreement you may be required to have a flea treatment if you have pets such as a dog or cat, or a general end of lease pest control program.

Syd Pest Control is security screened, fully trained, licensed and carries comprehensive insurance ensuring your peace of mind.

For either of these services, use our “end of lease” service code so we can send a franchisee who specialises in these areas.

Unwanted Pests at the end of your tenancy can:

  • Spread disease because some pests scavenge for food in unsanitary areas. Fleas are also known as transmitters of disease.

  • Make it difficult to get your bond back. Avoid costly tribunals with our guranteed service.

  • Make it unpleasant for the next tenant.

What We Do?

Set up a guaranteed program to control the pests for your end of lease treatment program.

  • Inspect: We will carry out a survey and report our findings.

  • Gel: We may apply a special gel

  • Dust: We may apply a fine insecticidal powder to your roof void, subfloor and in your wall cavities.

  • Surface Spray: We may apply a special surface spray which is approved for Australian conditions. This is applied to the perimeter of your home or building.

  • IGR: We may apply a very safe Insect Growth Regulator which helps significantly in reducing cockroach and flea infestations

What You Can Do?

  • Ensure the pest control treatment is the last thing that is done after cleaning

  • It has been a practice and in some States a legal requirement that when a lessee hands over the premises at the end of his lease that premises has to be thoroughly cleaned up, damages rectified, painted and an end of lease pest control carried out.
This not only gives the new lessee a clean, perfect and pests free premises it would also be a good marketing initiative. Any premises well maintained and with an end of lease pest control certification from a reputed pest control company, would quickly be snapped up than others.
An end of lease pest control certification would definitely add value to the premises, and when a prospective lessee walks into the premises he is sure to be impressed.
The end of lease pest control certification should cover practically all household pests. Each pest has it’s own unique trait and has to be combated differently. Termites the most devastating pest, would need an entirely different approach in controlling compared to cockroaches, that breed disease. Likewise, each type of household pests would need individual attention in the approach to combat them.
